Bushnell Tour V2 Rangefinder with Pinseeker (Slope Edition)
Ok, ok... so I've been on a bit of product push lately. You guys come here for the Monster Energy Shirts, I come here to talk about golf. So sue me, tis the season to be on the course! It's been a good summer for me golf wise, and I've been out on the course more than I ever have. There have been some killer rates due to the recession. My buddies and I have capitalized on that fact.I've got my bag, and getting used to the MacGregor Irons and Woods. The King Cobra 10.5 has been a phenomenal driver to learn with. While I of course want to upgrade my golf gear - bags, clubs, and such... I also have added a range finder to my list. I've read some really good stuff about the Bushnell Tour V2.
What's good about the Bushnell Tour V2 Slope Edition?
Let's start with customer feedback. This golf accessory has THE best user rating I've seen amongst them. Nothing but good testimonials. Out of 11 ratings, this bad boy gets 9 five star votes, and only 2 four star votes! Nothing less.Rangefinder Reviews

This is a truly ingenious device with deadly accuracy to 1 yard using the pinseeker option. I have thrown my GPS away now. This device has the advantage that not only can you find how far the flag is, but also how far is the bunker, what's the carry on the water etc. And if you want to know how far your drive was, you can stand at your ball on the fairway, turn round and pick up an object on the tee box. Since you are already carrying it, its also damn useful to augment your eyesight for spotting your ball after the drive. The slope feature is a cool addition - tells you 150 playing 160 uphill etc. However, if you are a tournament player then consider not having the slope feature as it is the last 10% and not allowed in many tournaments even if you don't use this feature so you would have to leave your V2 slope in the locker room. I personally play for fun and enjoy this feature.
The one small negative is that mine came with a geeky flourescent orange case which if you strap to your belt lets everyone on the course know you have a range finder. Luckily this Tour version is also small enough to slip into your pocket.Via Amazon - "Extremely accurate and useful" by Gregory L. Howell

Great rangefinder. It is easy to use, very accurate, and I use it all the time. I walk when I play golf, so this small, lightweight rangefinder really comes in handy. I use it to help me judge the distance on approach shots by guessing before measuring. Amazing how accurate this rangefinder is when compared to other players that are using the GPS in their carts. Even then, they ask me how far it is to the flag, since the GPS only gives a reading to an area of the green. I don't use the slope feature as much as I thought I would, but it might come in handy for future courses.

My initially delivered "item" could not be used as the battery insertion was a problem. One telephone call to Amazon resulted in a second "item" being delivered in two days. Everything was okay with this one. I have now used the rangefinder on six golf outings and I am very happy with its use. I recommend it to any golfer looking for a way to improve his game.

About the Bushnell Tour V2 Rangefinder with Pinseeker (Slope Edition)
- Weighs 2 pounds.
- Avg. Customer Review - 5 Stars!
- Bushnell has been the industry leader in high-performance sports optics for more than 50 years.
- Figure out the distance to flags tucked in the deepest corners of the green despite background clutter that might befuddle lesser rangefinders.
- 5 yard to 1,000-yard range. Which is accurate to plus or minus 1 yard.
- Ensures accurate target acquisitions by isolating your target and completely shutting out background hazards.
- The rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for the laser to reach the target and return to the unit.
- So fast, that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed.
- The Tour V2 offers three targeting modes. PinSeeker mode is designed exclusively with the bottom of the cup in mind, allowing you to easily acquire the flag without inadvertently capturing background target distances. The Scan mode, meanwhile, allows you to pan across the landscape while viewing a continuously updated LCD display of the distances between you and the targets you scan with the viewfinder. And golfers can use the Slope mode to measure the angle within plus or minus 1 degree. The rangefinder will then compensate the distance based upon the ball trajectory and type of club used.
