While the American public sees Paula as a happy go lucky, TV chef, I see her as media and merchandising mogul. The balance sheet of this entrepreneur's finical endeavors must be vast. The success and wealth of her cooking empire stems from many avenues, including various TV spots, lines of cookware, and libraries of cook books.
Forbes.com ranks Paula Deen as their number 100 on their power list. In the money department, they list her pay as $4.5 million, in the Chefs category. I can only assume that that number is based on her annual income as "pay." I doubt that that figure includes income from her restaurant (Lady & Sons restaurant -102 W Congress St. Savannah, GA 31401), cookware line, books, etc. With her level of success, she must be making more than $4.5 million.
