At Rogers Centre in Toronto, Saturday night, March 13th, Ryan Villopoto won the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Race. Ryan races for Monster Energy
Kawasaki, and in Saturday's race he dominated the AMA Supercross with a continuous lead. He secured his position after the 2nd lap and was never touched again for the remainder of the race. In fact, it is reported that Ryan had lapped more than half the field during his victorious run. This is Villopoto's fifth win of the season and puts him in the running to have a shot at the championship.
The next Monster AMA heat will be held in Arlington, Texas. It will be at the Cowboy's Texas stadium on Saturday March 20th. Going into the next race, Villopoto stands just 17 points behind the leader Dungey. The rankings are:
